As part of the "Third Annual Exhibition of Graduation Projects and Innovative Ideas," the Faculty of Technology and Education at Beni Suef University organized the third edition of the event under the patronage of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and under the slogan "Today's Innovation... Tomorrow's Industry."

This event is held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Tarek Ali, President of Beni Suef University; Prof. Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; and Prof. Dr. Abul-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mervat Refaat, Dean of the Faculty of Technology and Education.

Students from the third and fourth years of the Textile Technology Department participated with three outstanding graduation projects. These projects demonstrated their ability to leverage academic knowledge and practical skills to devise solutions that serve the textile industry while aligning with national trends toward innovation, sustainability, and the transition to a green economy.

"Repurposing Textile Material Scraps to Produce Innovative Textile Products in Light of Sustainable Development Goals"—an initiative aimed at utilizing textile waste and scraps by repurposing them into new products, thereby supporting concepts of sustainability and the circular economy while minimizing waste.

"Designing Pile Fabrics with High Aesthetic and Functional Properties to Enhance the Value of Textile Products"—a project that addressed the development of pile fabrics combining aesthetic appeal and functional performance, thereby contributing to increasing the value-added of textile products.

Overall, the projects demonstrated the department students' ability to innovate and develop textile products, utilize modern technologies, make optimal use of raw materials, and recycle textile waste—all in alignment with sustainable development goals and labor market needs.

The projects were carried out under the supervision of Dr. Asmaa Hassan Ali and Dr. Rawia Ismail. The supervisory team closely monitored every stage of the process—from the initial conceptualization and design preparation, through execution and finishing, to the final realization of the products—thereby reflecting the outstanding academic and practical caliber of the department's students.

The projects garnered praise and appreciation from the attendees, most notably Prof. Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Eng. Mostafa Magdy, Manager of the Amisia Ready-Made Garments Factory. Eng. Magdy commended the creative concepts and the high quality of project execution, emphasizing that they represent outstanding practical models capable of contributing to the service and development of the textile industry.

Engineer Mostafa Magdy also expressed his admiration for the students' outstanding academic and technical proficiency. He welcomed the recruitment of top-tier graduates from the department to work at the factory, emphasizing that the industrial sector requires such innovative ideas and qualified personnel capable of keeping pace with developments and meeting labor market demands.

This success reflects the commitment of the Faculty of Technology and Education at Beni-Suef University to linking academic education with practical application, encouraging students to innovate and be creative, and preparing them to actively contribute to industrial development and the achievement of sustainable development goals.
