Under the auspices of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan - President of the University, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Sameh El Maraghi - Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Hassanein - Dean of the College, and Prof. Dr. Mervat Refaat - Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development and Prof. Dr. Atef Fadl - Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs Today - Tuesday, May 23, 2023 - the Department of Process Control Technology - Faculty of Technology and Education - Beni Suef University - organized a scientific visit to the Noor Nile Textiles factory in the industrial zone in Al-Allama - for the students of the fourth year in the department, accompanied by Dr. Mohamed El-Sayed Abdel-Bar; Dr. Samah Abdel Rahman, Eng. Fadwa
The visit aims to link the practical and theoretical aspect that is taught in the specialization with practical application in the industry, where industrial control systems in production lines were identified, industrial control elements, PLC units, methods for controlling the speed of electric motors, and maintenance principles for control units
During this visit, the students got acquainted with all the details of the production line, accompanied by Eng. Ali Al-Sayed - Director of Electrical Maintenance at the factory - who gave a detailed explanation of the stages of testing, detection of faults, components and elements of production machines in the factory, protection methods for motors and electrical control panels. The students also got acquainted with some of the tests that are carried out on inverters and measuring speed, voltage and electric current
The administration of the university, the college and the students extend their sincere thanks and appreciation to the management of the Nour Nile Textiles Factory in Beni Suef for giving the college students the opportunity to get acquainted closely with modern technology in the field of industry through this visit and to Eng.
