A scientific trip to the Al-Watad Factory for Metal Formwork in the industrial zones of Al-Alamah for the fourth year students of the Department of Production Technology in the industrial zone in Bayad Al-Arab

and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Hassanein, Prof. Dr. Mervat Refaat, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Naguib El Sheikh - Head of Production Technology Department

Today - Tuesday, May 9, 2023 - the Department of Production Technology - Faculty of Technology and Education - Beni Suef University - organized a scientific trip to the Al-Watad Factory for Metal Formwork in the industrial zones in Al-Allama for students of the fourth year of the Department of Production Technology in the industrial zone in Bayad al-Arab - for students of the fourth year - under the supervision of Dr. Samah Abdel Rahman, in order to learn about the various industrial processes and manufacturing technology that associated with the specialization in production technology - and to link the academic study of the various courses of specialization with industrial operations on production lines

to get acquainted with the stages of production, study the nature and workflow, and provide the students with some skills in the different stages of the factory. During this trip, the students also learned about some manufacturing technology processes related to the forming and rolling of metal strips, which were taught to students in the third year, as well as some of the welding processes that were taught for students of the second year in the course of metal joining techniques
