Today's live meeting in the Nile news channel in the Technonail program to present the idea of ??the innovative device for the distillation of laboratory water based on thermoelectric power generators and solar collectors, which won the innovation award at the Seventh Cairo International Exhibition for Innovation
The idea of the proposed device
The device introduced an innovative technology for producing distilled water that can be used in medical applications and research laboratories. The condensation process in the proposed device was designed in two stages: In the first stage, thermoelectric power generators are used to improve the performance of the condensation process and convert the waste heat in the condensation process into electrical energy that can be used, which contributes in saving energy By recycling it as well as reducing global warming, which makes the device environmentally friendly. In the second stage, the water used in the condensation process is recycled, which contributes in saving wasted water during the condensation process. The device has been tested and compared with traditional devices in the market, and its efficiency has been shown to save electricity by up to 60%, only after the first boiling cycle
The implemented model can produce a large amount of distilled water up to 20 liters per hour. Intellectual property rights have been jointly protected by Dr. Mohamed El-Sayed Abdel-Bar from the Faculty of Technology and Industrial Education - Beni Suef University and d. Amir Yassin from the Electronics Research Institute, by applying for a patent, No. 1695/2021, on the idea of an innovative distillation device to save water and energy
